Every Fashion Haiku begins with a person.
Fashion Haiku is an ongoing series of cinematic fashion portraits exploring people through their individual ways of seeing and experiencing the world.
Through conversation, I search for fragments of their sensitivity — recurring thoughts, emotions, contradictions and the way they relate to art, music and their surroundings. I translate these fragments through my own perspective into image, fashion, space, movement, music and sound.
Rather than constructing artificial worlds around clothes, Fashion Haiku searches for poetry within what already exists: real spaces, imperfections, silence, natural light and unplanned moments.
Inspired by the economy of haiku and ideas of impermanence, simplicity and ma — the space between things — each film becomes a small, self-contained universe: a subjective impression of another human being.
Not a lookbook. A portrait.
Not documentation. An interpretation.
Ways of seeing.
Every portrait begins with a conversation.
I don’t begin with clothes or a location.
I begin by meeting the person.
A conversation becomes a collection of words, feelings, references and contradictions. From these fragments, the visual world of each Fashion Haiku begins to emerge.

Music and sound are treated as part of the narrative rather than an addition to the finished image.
Some pieces are built around existing music. Others are composed specifically for the portrait, including collaborations with Stefan.
Image, movement, silence, texture and sound are developed as parts of the same language.

I’m a cinematographer and filmmaker based in Kraków, drawn to simplicity, raw textures and the quiet spaces within an image.
Japanese art and its philosophies are an endless source of inspiration for me: the space between things, the beauty of imperfection, and the attention given to what is fleeting. These ideas shape my approach to minimalism and the way I look at people, places and light.
I’m also drawn to the work of Kentaro Miura and the imagery of dark fantasy — its intricate worlds, stark contrasts and sense of fragile humanity.
Fashion Haiku brings together my love of art and cinema through intimate portraits. Each film begins with a person, leaving room for gesture, atmosphere and the unexpected.
